Logistics Agreement Between Switzerland and Türkiye Renewed

The road transport agreement that has been in force since 1977 between Türkiye and Switzerland has been renewed after 49 years. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that the process to update the “Agreement on the International Carriage of Passengers and Goods by Road” between the two countries has been successfully completed.

In a statement shared through the Ministry’s social media account, it was noted that the new regulation, which replaces the existing agreement from 1977, has been signed and the process has officially concluded. The new agreement was signed by Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Durmuş Ünüvar, and Switzerland’s Ambassador to Ankara, Guillaume Bertrand Scheurer, on behalf of their respective countries.
