DHL Supply Chain Türkiye Launches Asya 1 Facility

DHL Supply Chain Türkiye has opened its Asya 1 logistics facility, located in Tuzla, Istanbul, in close proximity to Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The company’s new investment aims to provide flexible and end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the growing and evolving supply chain needs of various industries.
The new facility brings together DHL’s multi-sector expertise and customer-centric approach under a single integrated structure, focusing on operational efficiency, service quality, and supply chain resilience.
Multi-Sector and Integrated Operational Structure
DHL Supply Chain Türkiye General Manager Buket Cox described the opening of the facility as a significant step for the future of supply chain management in Türkiye. Cox emphasized that they are further strengthening their expertise, particularly in healthcare logistics, while building a structure capable of responding quickly and agilely to the changing needs of different industries.
The Asya 1 facility has the capacity to manage both high-volume fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) operations and healthcare sector logistics under one roof. This enables the company to deliver flexible and reliable solutions across multiple industries.

The facility stands out with its specialized solutions for the healthcare sector, operating in full compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

- 24/7 operational capability
- Specialized infrastructure for medical devices and sensitive products
- Temperature-controlled storage systems
- End-to-end traceability through GPS tracking, temperature monitoring, and tilt sensors
